Hawbakken is a wonderful and family-friendly holiday spot with a total of three holiday rentals on the same property, which can be rented in various combinations or as a whole. This combination of Høloftet and Kalvestalden consists of two apartments accommodating a total of 10 people (9 people + 1 extra bed). This setup is ideal if you're a couple of families or pairs of friends who would like the option to retreat to your own space for dining and sleeping.
Tranquility for Relaxation and Space for Movement
Outside at Hawbakken, there’s plenty of space with cozy corners featuring tables and benches, and a fabulous 180-degree panoramic view over the North Sea, Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, and Lønstrup. As a guest, you have free access to numerous activities at "Sport & Spas," where you can enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Read more about Sport & Spas at the end of this text. All holiday rentals are non-smoking, and youth groups or nighttime parties are not allowed. Pets are not allowed on furniture or left alone in the house, and water bowls must not be placed on wooden floors.

Step into Kalvestalden and feel the inviting atmosphere! The modern conveniences, including a fully equipped kitchen and stylish furnishings, are designed for cozy moments, and outside you can enjoy the widest sunset or grill on the large, private terrace.
The bedrooms offer enchanting sea views, and from the living room and kitchen, you have a peaceful view over fields and trees that create a sheltered spot—the perfect oasis on the west coast. This rental is ideal if you are looking for both peace and proximity to activities, close to both the beach and holiday town.
Details of Kalvestalden Kalvestalden at Hawbakken can host 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with comfortable double beds with thick top mattresses in each room. There is also a bathroom with a shower.

Høloftet – Lovely First-Floor Holiday Rental
Høloftet is the name of Hawbakken's charming first-floor apartment, which features cozy slanted ceilings but is equipped with modern conveniences. The balcony offers the sunniest spot in the area, and from here you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and a view over fields and Vennebjerg Church. This apartment is perfect if you’re looking for peace and proximity to activities, close to both the beach and the holiday town.
Accommodation Details
Høloftet accommodates 5 guests in 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each room and 1 single bed in the living room—all box spring beds with thick top mattresses to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Additionally, there is space for 1 extra bed in a pass-through room. For extra pampering, the apartment has a small sauna and a bathtub in the bathroom. No dogs allowed in this apartment!

Sport & Spas at Hawbakken
Hawbakken Sport & Spas offers more than 15 different activities for everyone, including mini-golf, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, petanque, air hockey, foosball, street hockey, Kubb, a playhouse, and much more. Sport & Spas is free for guests staying at Hawbakken, while external guests can access it for 75 DKK per day. Guests are responsible for maintaining order and taking care of amenities for other guests’ enjoyment. Sport & Spas is open every day, all year round, from 9:00 to 21:00 – for both overnight guests and external visitors (entry fee applies).
Please note: The game hall is unheated, and outdoor courts can be used when the weather allows.
